What a tremendous time we’ve had, so far! Thanks to the enthusiasm and support of the audio community worldwide, and many cups of coffee at all hours, since starting in mid-2023 we have successfully:
Hosted six different circuits with six different creative partners
Inspired 307 fluxworks from 22 countries
Commissioned audio from 28 different producers
Debuted original audio at IMI Fest, On Air Fest, Tribeca Audio, Resonate (x2), and The Sound Scene Festival (Hirshhorn Museum.)
Released the fluxworks from our first two circuits on vinyl
We were named as an official 2024 Tribeca Audio (podcast) Selection
We were named one of 2025’s Top Ten podcasts by The New Yorker!
It’s a lot, right? Up until now, Audio Flux has run on determination, adrenaline, nights, weekends, and a handful of generous sponsors. Now we’re looking ahead, talking to all kinds of partners, and have big, far-flung plans for Circuit 07, bringing Audio Flux into classrooms, additional seasons of the Audio Flux Podcast … and more.
As the podcasting industry becomes increasingly monolithic, we’re more committed than ever to maintaining Audio Flux as a welcoming home for innovation, experimentation, and the celebration of audio work of all sonic flavors.
